Having had a life long interest in all kinds of traditional and rural crafts, I was becoming increasingly sad that many of these skills were being lost to younger generations, as those versed in such skills passed away.

By chance one day, I met a kindred spirit in Carol Grace, a retired
Craft &Textiles lecturer.
We both felt that there was an opportunity to produce a range of simple crafts courses that would appeal to all generations.
We particularly wanted to make the courses
available to parents with school age children and so have timed many of our courses to fit inside the 'school run' day.

No previous experience
of crafts is required on our beginners courses, only a will to learn a tradional skill and have an enjoyable time in doing so.

There are many more courses in the planning stage for 2010, so keep watching this space while our website is under construction.
